Betty Morris Hamilton was born in Birmingham, Alabama and has always lived in the South.
She is a professional artist who enjoys working with many painting mediums, but pastels
are her favorite. Betty enjoys figurative painting and her favorite subjects are children just
being themselves. Her series of children in limited edition prints are fond "memories" of
growing up in the South.
Not only does Betty love painting, she also enjoys teaching to help others learn to
express themselves through art. Her work is in private collections throughout the country.
She is a member of the Pastel Society of America. Many of Betty's limited edition prints
have been published as cross-stitch designs by Leisure Arts, Inc.
"I would like for my paintings to bnng back memories of a special person, place,
or time. I guess you could say that I would like for my paintings to be a "celebration of
life" and the people we hold most dear."
Betty believes that creativity comes from God, and it is up to each of us to find and
use it for His glory. She also believes with all of her heart that with persistence and
patience dreams really do come true - if we keep believing..
Betty currently lives in Guntersville, Alabama, near Guntersville Lake and loves
walking along the lake, especially at sunset. She and several artist friends have joined
together to use their talents in a Happiness Ministry from their Art Studio "Somewhere in
Time". They visit nursing homes and hospitals as B-team angels to spread joy and
happiness to others. Betty is known as Elizabeth - the Rainbow Painter".
I hope you enjoy your prints, and don't forget to keep in touch with the Rainbow
Company. Thank you for your order! God Bless! May the joy of the Lord be your strength!
