ARTIST'S STATEMENT

My work is comprised of landscape and wildlife photography in environmentally sensitive areas throughout the United States. These include, but are not limited to, national parks, national wildlife refuges, preserves and state parks. I have incorporated the use of color and black and white processes to express myself through the medium of photography. The main goal of my work is to enable the viewer to experience the natural beauty of the world we live in as well as the emotions felt while viewing the subjects of my photographs for the first time.




BIOGRAPHY


 Brian K. Neely is a 1991 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Florida A&M University's photography program. Specializing in fine art landscape and wildlife photography, his work has been exhibited in over 150 regional, national and international competitions. He attributes his love of wildlife and nature to his early childhood. Being the son of a National Wildlife Refuge manager, he grew up on several refuges, and quickly developed an appreciation of wild things and wild places. This unique appreciation is captured in his photographs so that others may enjoy these environmental treasures through his eyes. Brian currently lives in North Central Florida, near Gainesville.
