Artist's Statement

I was born July 28, 1950, in Wilson, North Carolina. I enjoy painting landscapes of country scenes that remind me of growing up in North Carolina. I also enjoy painting portraits of famous people.

I studied art under John Alexander and James Surls at the University of Houston. I have a degree in fine art.
